Probate Officer’s Orders from the Rules Office
04 November 2021

There are many cases where you have to apply for an order from the Rules Division of the Probate Office before proceeding for your grant.
One such example would be admitting to probate a translation of a will not in the English language. To be able to submit a translation of a will you must obtain an order from the rules office of the probate office allowing you to submit to probate.
The probate office website contains a page setting out these types of situations and the requirements for each. It is a very useful step by step guide for these more difficult cases. Also, it’s a good guide as to when you require a Rules Office Order or whether you need an order from the Court.
